I saw this in the theater and OMG! I found the film amazing! It had quotes from the games, tons of references to Nintendo games in and out of Mario, and the art style is not all the way there for Mario but close enough. I'm also happy with this being faithful to the games, but doing enough of its own thing to stand out. Jack Black as Bowser was amazing! I think Nintendo should hire him as a full-time speaking voice actor for Bowser! It also has a mid and after-credits scene.

Some of my complaints are not knowing Bowser's origin story, this movie using Aha's Take On Me in Kong's place (As much as I like the song, it's pretty much everywhere in movies nowadays to the point that it's kinda annoying.), the flip-flopping character development between DK and Mario (One minute they're against each other and the other they get together.), we only see Yoshis briefly, and Charles Martinet cameos here but not as Mario.

The movie currently has a 7.5 on IMDb and I think its success and fanfare are well deserved. Shigeru Miyamoto produced this film with Illumination and I think this movie was in good hands. Plus, the window is open for future films. They're considering a Donkey Kong spin-off and a Luigi's Mansion film.

What I want for a future installment is an adaptation of Yoshi's Island and/or maybe a Super Smash Bros. film. (I imagine Super Smash Bros. as a video game Avengers.)

I believe that Mario fans can now rest easy knowing that there exists an ACCURATE film adaptation of their favorite game that they can call their own.

I subscribed to Deviantart's core program some time ago and posted pencil sketches with some behind the scenes videos for one of my vlogs on YouTube. I've been hoping to get backers for my work for a while now. This played a significant role in me pivoting my art style to the stuff I'm posting today, to make my art more viable to make a career out of.

By supporting me, there are a few ground rules.

As of right now, no commissioning artwork or requests! I have school currently, family, and I don't always have access to my desktop. (My desktop is the only way possible I can make digital artwork) I don't feel comfortable doing commissions afraid of forgetting orders and I don't think my art is high enough in quality to do commissions. (I might do commissions someday into the future, but most certainly not today)

By supporting me, your username will be written in the description of my artwork or projects. For example, if I make a video, anyone who helps fund it will have their name in the credits of the video and in the description. Basically, shouting out your name is my way of saying thanks for your support.

People who support me will be given access to final cuts of videos and finished artwork a week before I release them publicly.

Behind the Scenes content are also included, such as unedited videos, unedited audio recordings, pencil sketches, scripts, and project status updates.

This is what I have to give to anyone who's interested.

What will I do with the money I receive?

I'll use the money to buy equipment to make more stuff, use some of it for non-essentials, and to pay for stuff I might be using for these projects. (Like the Deviantart Core subscription so I can continue posting behind-the-scenes content and subscription-exclusive art here)

But it's not just Deviantart you can support me on, I also have a Patreon, Ko-fi, and the Fur Affinity Shiny system.

I would recommend subscribing to my Patreon because it was created first and I posted the most stuff on there.

Ko-fi:https://ko-fi.com/charcoalrabbitcompany

Fur Affinity:https://www.furaffinity.net/user/charcoalrabbit/

Even if you have nothing to give, taking the time to check out my work and/or letting people know about me is good enough.

I've been to the theater with my dad today to see the new Thor.

Pros: Christian Bale as Gorr is pretty good. Thor's original hammer returns. An army of children fight shadow creatures with Thor's power. The Guardians of the Galaxy are there. Jane's side of the MCU ended in a way where I'm happy with. (Her role ends on a good note and still leaves the window open for future appearances, if possible.) The Shadow Realm is in black and white (expect for the weapon effects). The music selection is rock hard. Zeus and Hercules appear.

Cons: The Guardians didn't get as much screen time as I wanted. I wished everyone got a wish in Eternity, Thor, Jane, and Gorr getting one wish each. (It would've ended where everyone wins.)

Rating: 8.9/10

Overall: This film blew my expectations in a good way. Giving me a satisfying conclusion to the Thor x Jane relationship, having scenes that have me invested and/or on my toes. Go see this film in theaters or wherever you have access to it. It's the fourth installment to the Thor part of the MCU. Watch the other films beforehand to have an idea of where things are. The MCU is like a live-action anime in film form. All the films I see in this franchise are just as good if not better than the last.

I just published the cover and the first 10 pages of my new comic on Tapas and Webtoon. Keep in mind, this is my third and possibly final comic for now. After this, no more comics for a while. With this out of my mind I can focus on writing my book with no distractions. It will be my biggest project yet. Something that will top Kaden Caverns, Chuckin'pals, Wrestaur's Journey even. This comic will be a big thing for you guys before I work on my book.

After this, I'll write my book to the end. After writing it, I'll take it to post production and have people read by to tell me what to fix before publishing. I'm intending on publishing it under the conditions I get half if not all the profits and 100% of the royalties. This is my biggest project I ever done up to this point.Β

I, unfortunately, got Covid yesterday. My book project and everything I'm working on will be delayed until I get better. But don't worry, I'm getting better. My throat doesn't hurt as much anymore and I don't have a fever anymore.
