I've been to the theater with my dad today to see the new Thor.

Pros: Christian Bale as Gorr is pretty good. Thor's original hammer returns. An army of children fight shadow creatures with Thor's power. The Guardians of the Galaxy are there. Jane's side of the MCU ended in a way where I'm happy with. (Her role ends on a good note and still leaves the window open for future appearances, if possible.) The Shadow Realm is in black and white (expect for the weapon effects). The music selection is rock hard. Zeus and Hercules appear.

Cons: The Guardians didn't get as much screen time as I wanted. I wished everyone got a wish in Eternity, Thor, Jane, and Gorr getting one wish each. (It would've ended where everyone wins.)

Rating: 8.9/10

Overall: This film blew my expectations in a good way. Giving me a satisfying conclusion to the Thor x Jane relationship, having scenes that have me invested and/or on my toes. Go see this film in theaters or wherever you have access to it. It's the fourth installment to the Thor part of the MCU. Watch the other films beforehand to have an idea of where things are. The MCU is like a live-action anime in film form. All the films I see in this franchise are just as good if not better than the last.

I just published the cover and the first 10 pages of my new comic on Tapas and Webtoon. Keep in mind, this is my third and possibly final comic for now. After this, no more comics for a while. With this out of my mind I can focus on writing my book with no distractions. It will be my biggest project yet. Something that will top Kaden Caverns, Chuckin'pals, Wrestaur's Journey even. This comic will be a big thing for you guys before I work on my book.

After this, I'll write my book to the end. After writing it, I'll take it to post production and have people read by to tell me what to fix before publishing. I'm intending on publishing it under the conditions I get half if not all the profits and 100% of the royalties. This is my biggest project I ever done up to this point.Ā

I, unfortunately, got Covid yesterday. My book project and everything I'm working on will be delayed until I get better. But don't worry, I'm getting better. My throat doesn't hurt as much anymore and I don't have a fever anymore.

I'm finally making a change with myself and my work.

All my previous works are getting canceled and vaulted until I can get an outcome as good as the idea. My Perfect Family has a completed script, just the art style takes too much effort/work than I'm willing to invest. Emotesters have been dead for a while because the idea of monsters based on emotion got stale. Wrestaur's Journey: The Topley Cut was meant to be an improved version of another story I wrote. Because I was unhappy with the original. I stopped writing because I had no clue where to go with my work. I just had no ideas for future chapters. That story will be unfinished until I can write something worth writing for it.

For a while, I'm locking my unfinished work away until I can get the power to make them. There will be no more longer works for now. I wanted to get the best content possible in the shortest amount of time possible. I felt I needed to make good work and fast to not disappoint anyone. I had a talk with my mom and opened up about my issues.

I now have a change of heart. I'm dropping everything and lifting the weight of how I think people would think off of me. As much as it sucks for some of my ideas to be (temporarily) thrown out. I think it's for the best I just slow down. Back then, I was afraid of not being able to do everything I want to do. I wanted to do them head-on so I would be a good content creator. I wanted to be the youngest, quickest to make good content. With a new perspective, I'm slowing down to make something as good as possible.

I was going through a sort of crisis/collapse. So I'm finally gonna wait before I make what I want.

I now can't guarantee I will continue the works I have canceled. But that doesn't mean I can't take samples of them to use in future projects. I'm now gonna take my time to do what I want.

If you are an artist yourself, I recommend doing this. Slow down. The longer the wait, the better the outcome. Quality over quantity. Juggling school and the internet/potential career is very complicated. Especially with low money, limited time, and limited supplies.

Be disappointed if you want, I still have other works that I think are good. I hope to make great pieces soon.

The very first ā€œStudio Ghibliā€ film. This was made by Topcraft and released by Toei. But was made by Hiyao Miyazaki and the guys who would eventually found the company. This movie was made as a Manga/Comic series first. Which ran for 59 chapters. I watched it recently on HBO Max. The version was Disneyā€™s dub distributed by Gkids. Thank god itā€™s not Warriors of the Wind.

Pros: Nausicaa is a pretty nice, sweet, good looking protagonist. Nausicaaā€™s looks sometimes reminds me of Sailor Moon. The animation was cool for the Great Warrior. The Mayor of Pejite reminded me of Lupin III by facial expression. The Ohm are pretty wonderful shelled creatures. The glider and post apocalyptic world reminds me of TLoZ: Breath of the Wild. The film has a definitive ending.

Cons: The Great Warriorā€™s amount of screen time is disappointing. The Warriors of the Wind dub was so bad.

Rating 8.9/10

Overall: Hiyao Miyazaki made a film that exceeded my expectations for an anime film. Iā€™m starting to get more into anime. The only anime stuff before this was Pokemon, Yo-Kai Watch, Beyblade, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and My Neighbor Totoro. I now see Studio Ghibli films as the Pixar of Japan. Also as a gateway drug for Japanimation/Anime. If only that squirrel-fox was a Pokemon. If youā€™re looking to get into Studio Ghibli or Anime in general, start here. You can watch either the Japanese original or the English dub. Thanks to the studioā€™s no edit rule, you can watch any version of it. But never Warriors of the Wind.

Iā€™m writing a review on Disney/Pixarā€™s Turning Red. The newest Pixar film as of 3/12/2022.

This movie was an unusual experience. Felt like a 3D anime film. When I heard my siblings playing the film in the other room while I made this comic, it sounded so dramatic.

Pros: I enjoyed everyoneā€™s facial expression, especially the eyes. The animation reminds me of an anime or The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. The red panda thing is an awesome concept. The climax with the giant red panda felt like some Godzilla movie. There was a Simpsons reference at the beginning of the film.

Cons: The mother felt like a Karen. The mother/perfect daughter relationship feels like Brave all over again. The emotions to power the red panda feels like a Hulk/Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde clone. Should someone call the Canadian government or animal control on the red panda TF thing? No? Just asking. Bringing this up because itā€™s kinda an afterthought.

Rating: 7.1/10

Overall: I thought the movie was cool with the setting and animation. The story feels like Brave with a side of red pandas. I like the dramatic moments and this red panda curse. The idea of turning into one sounds like something a superhero would have. Friendly Neighborhood Red Panda Person, anyone? I could pause the film on any frame and the facial expression feel funny. Like Toon Link from Wind Waker.
